Released in 2018, Candy Storm takes strongly after classic slots but, instead of fruit symbols, it uses images of multi-colored candies. The slot machine is primarily interesting for its Re-spins and linear bet multipliers of up to x250.
The slot has the following structure:
Before the spins start, the player has the opportunity to adjust the total bet amount in the menu that opens with a click on the New Bet button. The dialog window shows all the available bet amounts: 10, 50, 100, 250, and 1000 credits. The slot also has a special option for high rollers. The player can bet the maximum possible amount of credits in just one click by pressing the Max Bet key. The triangle button launches a single spin. By pressing and holding it, the Auto Spins mode will be activated. The payouts for each symbol are listed in the paytable that opens with the “i” key.
The rainbow whirlpool picture is the slot’s wild symbol. It substitutes for all other pictures and lands on the three central reels only, expanding to cover their entire length. The purple “7” symbol lives up to the reputation of being a lucky number as it brings the largest payouts, multiplying the linear bet by 50, 150, and 250 times. The bell picture has multipliers of 20, 80, and 200, while the multipliers for the red candy symbol are 10, 25, and 80.
The green candy image increases the bet by 5, 20, and 50, and the purple candy symbol gives you multipliers of 5, 15, and 25. Orange and blue candies multiply the bet per line by 4, 10, 20, and 3, 8, 15 times, respectively. In most cases, there are several candy symbols on the reels at one time, which allows the user to win more frequently.
Whenever one of the central reels is filled with the wild symbol entirely, the main bonus feature of the slot machine is triggered. The wild reel locks in its position, while the rest of the reels keep spinning.
Thanks to the Re-spins option, large prize payouts are possible in each round, which is why there are no particular playing strategies for this video slot. The user can play with a persistently high bet since it can pay off in any round if the re-spin option is activated.
